DW UMa is an eclipsing, nova-like, permanent superhumper. In addition to the positive and negative superhumps (Patterson et al. 2002, Boyd et al. 2017 and references therein) it shows spectroscopic peculiarities characteristic for the SW Sex stars (Thorstensen et al. 1991, Dhillon et al. 2013, and references therein) and occasionally displays the so-called low states
